Legal software built in Geneva
Ulpian is a platform for law firms, notaries and in-house legal teams. It is developed by Cyberesia SA, a Geneva-based company, and hosted in Switzerland by a Swiss provider.
What we build
Ulpian brings a firm's matters, deadlines, documents, time, billing, banking and compliance together in one platform. AI agents prepare the work there: tasks, time entries, draft documents and reminders. Lawyers accept, correct or reject what has been prepared.
We made this choice because a firm often uses five or six tools that do not share the same data. Each piece of information is entered several times, and the AI, when it is used at all, works on copies without knowing the matter or the permissions of the person asking.
How we work
Every feature of the product has a public status: available, in progress or on the roadmap. We never present something as delivered when it is not, and our comparison pages also say when you should keep the tool you already have.
Product calls are led by the team that builds the product, on a fictitious or anonymised matter. The questions raised in them directly shape the work of the following weeks.

Lawyers decide
Anything sent to a client, a court or a bank, and any financial entry, waits for approval by an authorised person.
Your data stays yours
Your documents and queries are not used to train any model, and you can export your data at any time in open formats.
AI under your governance
Your own keys or a local model, an enforced processing region, identifiers pseudonymised before sending and every call logged.
Hosting that fits your obligations
The platform is hosted in Switzerland by a Swiss provider, out of reach of the US CLOUD Act. Your files stay where they are: in your kDrive, your S3 or your SharePoint. With Enterprise, a dedicated deployment runs in your own cloud, on your infrastructure or as a dedicated instance in the European Union.
