Administrations, courts and prosecution services
Procedure, exhibits and deadlines,on your own infrastructure.
Courts, prosecution services and administrations handle volumes of case files, exhibits and deadlines that few tools can track with the rigour required. Ulpian is deployed there only in the Enterprise edition: on your infrastructure or in a dedicated cloud, with local AI, strict permissions between departments and a complete log of every action.
What you will see in Ulpian
Fictitious matter, sample data.
The path of a request
What happens when someone at the firm asks the AI a question. Switch between a local model and an external provider to see what changes.
03 Your keys, your provider and your processing region, or a local model that stays in your infrastructure.
With an external provider, identifiers are pseudonymised before anything leaves, to the provider and region you chose.
Facts with their source
Each fact is attached to the document it comes from. Click a fact to read the source passage; contradictions are flagged.
Choose a fact on the timeline.
What courts and authorities face
The workload is growing, files are getting larger, and every decision must be traceable back to the exhibit it rests on.
- 01
Files of thousands of pages
Interview records, reports, expert opinions and seized documents arrive in volumes that no team can read in full before the deadline.
- 02
Deadlines set by law
Limitation periods, appeal deadlines and procedural time limits are tracked in separate calendars, file by file.
- 03
Strict confidentiality
Investigations, minors, health or security data: some files must be visible only to a designated team.
- 04
Documents to anonymise
Before publication or disclosure, names and identifiers must be removed without error or omission.
What Ulpian provides
The same modules as for law firms and legal departments, configured for your authority's procedure and deployed in your environment.

One case file
Parties, exhibits, deadlines, documents, notes and the log in one place, with the access rights of each department.
Sourced chronology and exhibit review
Facts extracted from the exhibits with their source, contradictions flagged, and a first review of the exhibits by the AI.
Deadlines and hearings
Deadlines found in the documents are proposed to an authorised person, who confirms them, and are then tracked in the calendar; the hearing sheet keeps the exhibits at hand.
Drafting from your templates
Draft documents are prepared from your templates, and the AI's changes appear as Word tracked changes to accept or reject.
Verified redaction
Identifiers are removed from documents before publication or disclosure, with a check before sending.
Electronic exchanges
Court e-filing and judicial exchanges are in preparation per country pack. In Switzerland, Justitia.Swiss is in preparation.
A file, from registration to archive
- Step 0101
Registration
The file is opened, assigned to the right department and walled off where needed.
- Step 0202
Exhibits and chronology
Filed exhibits are classified and dated, and facts are added to the chronology with their source.
- Step 0303
Reading and research
The AI prepares a first reading and research in public legislation and case law, with verified citations.
- Step 0404
Drafting and approval
The draft is prepared from your templates, then reviewed and approved by the person responsible.
- Step 0505
Archiving
The closed file is kept for the statutory periods that apply to you, with legal hold and certified deletion.
Sovereignty and control
Hosting on your premises
Installation on your infrastructure or a dedicated cloud, as your IT department requires.
Local AI
A local or dedicated model, with no call to an external provider if you so decide. Every call is logged.
Permissions by department
Roles and ethical walls between departments: a walled-off file appears neither in searches nor in AI answers.
Log and retention
Who did what, on which file, with which AI, and retention periods applied with a deletion certificate.
