Sensitive matters, seen by the right team

A divorce or an estate touches the private life of a family. Ulpian restricts access to the matter to the designated team, brings parties, assets and steps together, and keeps a record of every document shared.

What weighs on the work today

  • 01

    Strict confidentiality

A family's information must be seen only by the people working on the matter, including inside the firm.

  • 02

    Many parties

Heirs, spouses, children, experts and authorities each have their role, details and exchanges.

  • 03

    Long timelines

An estate can last years, and the person taking over the matter needs to understand its state without rereading everything.

A matter, from first contact to invoice

  1. Step 0101

The matter opens with its parties and access limited to the designated team.

  2. Step 0202

Documents are filed and classified; facts and assets are gathered.

  3. Step 0303

Documents to share with the client go through the portal, version by version.

  4. Step 0404

Steps and deadlines are tracked until closing, then the time is invoiced.

What the AI prepares

  • A summary of the state of a matter for the person taking it over.
  • The chronology of facts, with the source of each fact.
  • The first draft of an agreement or letter from your templates.

What stays with you

  • Advising and listening to the client.
  • The choice of what is shared, and with whom.
  • Any step taken with an authority.

Frequently asked questions

Can a colleague see a family matter through the AI?

No. The assistant and the agents access only the matters authorised for the person using them; a walled-off matter does not appear in their answers.

Is an account needed to open a share?

No. A personal link, limited in time and revocable, gives access to the shared version only. Every opening is logged.
