Small firm
A team working on the same matters
With a few partners and associates, everyone has their own habits and files. Ulpian gives the team a shared matter file, deadlines everyone can see and billing that starts from recorded time, without an administrator keeping everything up to date.
What you will see in Ulpian
Fictitious matter, sample data.
A conflict check that explains its results
The party searched is at the centre, and its links with your contacts, your matters and the history open out in rings. A link with an opposing party stands out, and the decision rests with the partner. Click a link to read the explanation.

A deadline found, then confirmed
The letter arrives, Ulpian proposes the due date under the recorded rule, and the lawyer confirms it. Drag the date of the letter.
Indicative calculation: every legal deadline is confirmed by the lawyer before it enters the calendar.
What weighs on the work today
- 01
Knowledge in a few heads
When the assistant or associate who knew the matter is on holiday, nobody can find anything.
- 02
Deadlines tracked by each person
Each lawyer keeps their own calendar, and the partner has no overall view of the firm's deadlines.
- 03
Late invoices
Time is entered at the end of the week, often from memory, and billing goes out weeks late.
- 04
AI without shared rules
Some associates use a consumer assistant on confidential matters without the firm knowing.
What the AI prepares
- Qualification of requests and conflict checks across the whole history.
- Forgotten time and month-end pre-invoices.
- Deadlines found in the mail, proposed to the responsible lawyer.
- The first draft of routine documents from the firm's templates.
What stays with you
- Accepting mandates and deciding on conflicts.
- Approval of invoices and outgoing documents.
- The firm's rules for using AI.

Does Ulpian replace our practice management software?
Yes, for most firms: matters, contacts, time, invoices, bank and documents are managed in it. The import assistant brings your existing data.
Can we set rules for how associates use AI?
Yes. The firm chooses its models and keys, imposes a processing region and sets caps. Every call is logged, and identifiers can be pseudonymised before sending.
See it on a matter that looks like yours
The diagnostic shows you in three minutes where your firm loses time. The call shows you Ulpian on a typical matter, in twenty-five minutes.
